SRU
I like the technology that slippery rock uses to get the message across to students about classes getting canceled for example. You can sign up on an certain program on the slippery rock website. Whenever the weather is bad they can send out a personal message to you telling you that classes are cancled. this makes it very easy because if the student is not near a computer they would not be able to know and go out in the bad weather. You can also send them to stay in your dorms if there is an emergency on campus like VT of the latest northern illinios. This is a very nice program to have at a University and very easy to use.

i agree. the emergency notification system is a great piece of technology that the SRU campus has. i do feel however that the class cancelation system needs some work. like jim said, if a student is not near a computer they will have no idea classes are cancelled.
