E-Folio

This is a huge project that is brought up a little to early in the major. Some students get the project done the first time, which is great for them. Others will wait to do it at the last minute though. These people will pay in the long run whenever they have to turn it in for senior sem. I reccomend that everyone takes it serious the first time and to also save the project on MULTIPLE devices.

Wiki

Just finished the Wiki project and it is a cool new software. Me and my partner did the project together when we were across the library. But wiki made it seem like we were working right next to eachother. I think there are a lot of possibilities to use this technology throughout my teaching career. I am excited to get out there to eventually get out there and teach to my own group of kids

Field Experience

I just had my first field experience that I had to teach in for 452. I taught third grade through their dynamic stretches. The first day of teaching went very well and the students behaved very well. My field teacher is giving us one more part of the lesson to teach throughout the semester. I am looking forward to teaching the next part of the lesson so I can get as much experience as possible. I feel that is the best way to learn how to each is just by going out and doing it.

Gas

Just for the record whenever bush took over office gas was averaging $1.5o. Now as his term is coming to an end it has doubled and doesn't look like its going down anytime soon. Obviously setting record highs all over the country. This affects my decison to go home a lot. It really isn't worth it to drive home for a weekend and spend $50 dollars in gas. Hopefully whenever the next president is elected the prices will go down.

I have never used this program before. It was very fun making and editing the video throughout this project. It was interesting seeing myself teaching the skill and editing myself on the computer. This is going to be helpful in the future whenever I begin my teaching career. I will use this program whenever i am absent in order to keep my class on track.

Weather

The summer weather is finall here. Unfortunately the finals are right around the corner. It is hard to study when you look outside the window and see everyone having a good time enjoying the weather. This is when the good old labtop comes into play. Having the powerpoints and notes downloaded on the labtop is awesome. You can take your labtop outside to get work done and enjoy the weather a the same time.

Pens

The pens swept the senator last night with a 3-1 victory. Out of 4 games the senators only scored 5 goals total. The pens scored 16 total goals. The final stats of the series easily showed that the pens swept them as they lead every offensive category by a goof margin. Thank gof for Fox Sports Network as they are going to cover every game for penguins hockey. I'm going to be a little scary looking in the next couple weeks if they keep winning because I am growing a playoff beard. LETS GO PENS!!
